Flemish Studies: Series of 18 portraits
This series of photographs demonstrates the art of Sacha Goldberger’s work with the Flemish style portraits. This allowed him to tame the chiaroscuro lights so dear to Rembrandt and master the poses with live animals.
Specially cast for the series, these animals received specific training usually reserved to the cinema industry.
Materials, period costumes, wigs and make-up give a gallery patina to this series of portraits showcased by all the major international museums.
